Clare Fone   Clare Fone MCSP, SRP, Cert. Health Ed
Clare Fone qualified from Guy’s Hospital, London in 1984 with distinction. She is the founder of WPPC. Clare specialises in pain management and all spinal and peripheral joint conditions. She has always had a specific interest in prevention and aims to resolve the cause of pain in all her patients. She lectures regularly to companies on manual handling and back care, has lectured on the annual Pain Symposium, London. Clare includes Pilates rehabilitation in her treatment plan with all patients.
     
Elizabeth Rose   Elizabeth Rose MMACP, MCSP,SRP
Elizabeth qualified from Newcastle-upon-Tyne. She has since done post graduate courses in Manipulative Physotherapy and Acupuncture, becoming a member of MMACP and AACP. Elizabeth has worked extensively in Canada and the USA, necessitating membership to their governing bodies. She enjoys the challenge of all neuro-musculo-skeletal conditions.
     
Ebony Frears   Eboni Frear
Eboni Joined our team in July 2006 and is a New Zealand Qualified
Physiotherapist with a keen interest in Pilates Rehabilitation (Mat work and
Equipment based). Eboni has worked in Private Practise within New Zealand
and the UK. Eboni has also enjoyed working with sports teams in the past,
namely top level Netball. Outside of work Eboni enjoys staying fit and is
currently training towards a half marathon.
     
  Sheena Patel
Sheena joined the team in August 2008. She qualified in Sheffield and returned to London and has worked in the public and private sector.

She specialises in all muscloskeletal injuries with an interest in running injuries and shoulder problems. She enjoys the challenge of muscloskeletal problems and she incorporates her clinical pilates training, acupuncture training and physiotherapy modalities to treat problems and to prevent reoccurance.

She also runs a lunch time class using a combination of Physio, yoga and Pilates exercises to strengthen, lengthen, tone and improve core stability.
     
  Anna Barlow
Anna Barlow is a Chartered Physiotherapist, who trained in Auckland, New Zealand and graduated in 2004 with a BSc in Physiotherapy. In 2006, she completed her PGD (Musc) and Post graduate certificate in Acupuncture in 2008.

Since graduating in 2004, Anna has been employed in a mainly musculoskeletal environment. During this period, she gained experience in a range of clinical areas, including sports rehabilitation, pre and post operative treatment, paediatrics, occupational health and a number of further musculoskeletal problems.

Anna has a special interest in sports injuries and rehabilitation. She has worked with a number of football teams including the New Zealand U17 Women's Football, and was their team physiotherapist for the 2008 U17 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
     
  Anne Dickins
Anne Dickins is a fully qualified Chartered Physiotherapist with 20 years experience in treating musculoskeletal conditions. She has worked in private practice in the U.S.A. UK and Europe. She is a full member of the HPC, CSP and OCPPP and regularly attends post-graduate courses on a variety of topics. She is a qualified Pilates Class Instructor with the APPI.

Her treatment philosophy is to consistently provide a holistic approach to each patient. Not only to address their symptoms with clear clinical judgment, but also to understand, analyse and correct its underlying cause. She has worked alongside Olympic show jumpers in the UK and Europe and also has a keen interest in treating cyclists.

Outside work Anne is a keen cyclist. She races at national events and has been placed in both.

  Kendra Kuhl
Kendra Kuhl Registered Massage Therapist, BA

Kendra is a Canadian trained massage therapist and is currently a student at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Much of her 8 years experience has been working with endurance athletes to assist them with recovery and with office employees to relieve computer-related strain.

Kendra believes in incorporating massage as part of a healthy lifestyle as it not only helps boost the immune system but also reduces stress and anxiety.

She is a member of the Complimentary Therapists Association

OSTEOPATHY

  Nicky Ellis
Nicky trained as a professional dancer performing internationally for over 15 years, with an array of contemporary choreographers whose work has involved Abseiling, Capoeira, Tango and dancing in a lift!

Having always had a fascination with movement she retrained as an Osteopath in 2001. She is the Osteopath and Anatomy Lecturer at London Contemporary Dance School and recently became an asscoiate Osteopath at Natureworks. Nicky also has over 10 years of experience as a massage therapist.

Aside from dancing she has experience in climbing, martial arts, gymnastics, flying trapeze and scuba diving.

Nicky has a keen interest in treating:

PILATES INSTRUCTOR

Annabelle Fordes   Annabelle Forde
Annabelle has taught in a variety of London Pilates studios, established Pilates Foundation training centres and for The Pilates Foundation.
She has worked alongside both physiotherapists and osteopaths, gaining a full understanding of specific physical objectives and requirements.
Annnabelle is also a fully qualified Gyrotonic(R) instructor and ran her own successful Pilates and Gyrotonic(R) studio in London.
     
    Jemima Hoadley
BA (HONS) Dance Theatre – Pilates Foundation Instructor.

Jemima is an independent dance artist and choreographer, making work for her company Wreckless Arts, as well as commissions for other companies in UK and abroad.

She trained at Laban, graduating in 1997 with First Class BA (HONS) in Dance Theatre. She was introduced to the Pilates method of exercise during her dance training and has practiced it since 1994.

Her dance technique and approach to movement has been greatly informed by the Pilates method, which gave her tools to recover from several dance and sports injuries and has also helped prevent further injury during her 10 year career as a professional contemporary dancer.

Jemima trained with the Pilates Foundation, who exist to uphold the highest possible standard of Pilates teaching and practice.

She enjoys teaching Pilates matwork to a diverse cross section of society and has an interest in Pilates as a form of rehabilitation, with experience teaching people with chronic injuries, physical dysfunction and disabilities.

Jemima also has a special interest in teaching Pilates to the Deaf community.

She is learning British Sign Language, currently at Level 3.

Jemima’s Pilates classes focus on dynamic alignment and quality of movement, maintaining rhythm and pace, using subtle verbal queuing and guidance. She creates a relaxed welcoming atmosphere in her classes.
     
  Paulo Kadow
Paulo was trained as a professional dancer, with over 18 years experience. Born and raised in Brazil, he began teaching dance in 1988, which led him to open his own private dance school. During this time, he explored the use of visual imagery to promote freedom of movement.

He worked with various dance companies in Brazil and Germany, later moving to London to join Matthew Bourne in the highly acclaimed ‘Swan Lake’. He went on to play the leading role in ‘The Car Man’ and while working on ‘Nutcracker!’ was invited to teach ballet to the company. This rekindled his passion for teaching.

At that time he discovered the Pilates Method, and went on to train with The Pilates Foundation UK to become a fully accredited Pilates instructor.

Paulo draws on his experience as a dancer and teacher, combined with the unique movement therapy that Pilates offers, to provide a sense of well-being, fluidity and internal balance. His teaching style combines the use of flow and visual imagery to promote harmony between mind and body.

PODIATRY

  Simon Adam
Simon Adam earned his Podiatry undergraduate degree from the highly regarded School of Podiatry at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia.

Since graduating Simon has commenced a postgraduate Masters in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery, which he is completing through Caledonian University in Glasgow, Scotland.

Simon has vast experience in working in both the public and private sectors and currently holds a specialist position with in the NHS as a biomechanical podiatrist with a particular interest in musculoskeletal problems.

Simon is registered with both the Health Practitioners Council and The Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrists in London
